Davor Mišković is a cultural worker from Rijeka (Croatia) and president of the non-profit association Drugo more (Other Sea), where his work ranges from programme selection to executive production, including fundraising and PR. He is a researcher of the cultural sector focusing on organisational aspects of cultural life. He is an active participant in the creation of cultural policies involved in advocacy actions. As a part time lecturer at the Faculty of Arts and Sciences in Rijeka, Mišković is holding courses in cultural management and organisation theory.
Mišković is also involved in the management of cultural institutions and networks (currently the president of the Clubture Network and the Theatre Council of the City Puppet Theatre in Rijeka, he was a member of the Cultural Council of the City of Dubrovnik).
He curated and organized numerous cultural events, conferences and educational programs, collaborated on several research projects and has taken part in many cultural management and consulting bodies. Currently he is preparing a PhD thesis at the University of Zagreb. He has worked in the Ministry of Culture for seven years and was a part-time associate in a number of cultural associations, market research agencies, daily papers and magazines.
